As the founder and driving force behind the label, Jonathan Ray professionally known as Jay Henchman has spent years refining his craft as an audio engineer, working closely with artists to shape their sound and bring their visions to life. His transition into launching Culture Between Records reflects a larger mission: to create a platform where independent artists can access the same level of quality, guidance, and opportunity typically associated with major labels.

The label’s first official artist, Utous Wils, represents this vision with the release of the emotional single “Be Back,” a story-driven record about two strangers whose chance encounter turns into something unforgettable.
